Have you ever been in a wilderness of life?
We’re blessed to have with us Rev. Tara Browder last April 6th for a special evening service. There, she talked about how to deal with the wilderness of our lives. Coming out of a wilderness herself, she gave two great examples of how to overcome it. First, she illustrated how Jesus, our God, dealt with Satan tempting Him throughout His journey in the wilderness. Truly, a Spirit-led wilderness will bear fruits. But if it‘s a wilderness of our own choosing, we should get out of it, for it will not bear fruit. She also introduced the life of Joseph, and how God led him to from being sold by his brothers to being the Pharaoh’s right hand in command. When he confronted his brothers, in the end he did so out of humility and love. He did not remember the offense, for he saw the big picture of God’s plan for his life, and he grew from his wilderness.
Detailing her own wilderness out of a broken engagement, her testimony is very uplifting. She mentioned how, during her times of sorrow, she went to a camp overseas and saw multiple people get healed and receive salvation. This shows that God has a great plan for whatever we are going through, for His greater glory.
The day is capped of with soaking in worship.
Truly, we must come out of our wilderness bearing fruit for the glory of our Most High God!
